Chinese education is confronted with many problems. The resolution of them relies heavily on an effective application of the aesthetic education into the education of Chinese, for aesthetic education has its overwhelming advantages in developing students' potentials. The thesis has, as its major concern, discussed four problems, i.e., the objective of Chinese aesthetic education, the basic strategies, aesthetic education in the main steps of Chinese teaching, and the aesthetic quality and creative ability of the Chinese teachers.Undoubtedly, the correct establishment of the objective sets the basic for a possible implementation of Chinese education. However, this should be done from the height of competence education, rather tan for the purpose of enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Chinese teaching. That is to say, training Students' humanistic character must be considered as the objective of Chinese aesthetic education. Furthermore, in the current market economy, it also has very important practical meanings.We must master correct strategies so that we can effectively apply the Chinese aesthetic education and train the students' humanistic character as well, which included six basic strategies are, in directing student to set up a health and lofty aesthetic outlook, arousing their interest of aesthetic, guiding them to form a correct aesthetic attitude, cultivating their aesthetic affection, inspiring their aesthetic imagination and lastly training they're aesthetic intuition in general.Similarly necessary is the timely resolution of the specific questions of aesthetic education in the main steps of Chinese teaching (reading instruction, writing instruction and extracurricular activities).Teachers are the subjects of Chinese aesthetic education. Therefore, their Aesthetic quality and creative ability are of vital importance.Accordingly, some innate contradictions of the present education system should also be seriously tackled so as to consolidate the aesthetic education in the teaching of Chinese.
