UNESCO has given a new concept to illiteracy: the illiteracy in 21st century are those who can't seek new knowledge automatically, i.e. the people who aren't the learner autonomy. While to the students in secondary vocational school, it's more important to know how to study than want to study. So, shifting the study style, and to cultivate the students'self-regulated study competence, is the notch and the right section to the solution of students'passive study situation. It will be good to the development in different levels of different students, it will be good to cultivate the students'innovation spirit and practice ability, it will be good to cultivate high-quality-oriented skillful talents and to its need of a stable development, and it will be good for some students to build a good formation of accepting higher education. The purpose of this research is based on a fully understanding of learner autonomy theory, a fully understanding of home and abroad current study and secondary vocational students'study on maths. The tenet is to explore how to cultivate students'self-regualted study competence on maths practically, and to show some enlightenment in math teaching.This paper adopts two methods: analysis of literary works and empirical induction, and also makes a deep study on home and abroad learner autonomy study theory and literary support, the implication of related learner autonomy theory on maths. Based on this, making use of closed test scale, and designs the survey paper on students'self-regulated study on maths from four altitudes, dealing with the result by SPSS10.0 statistics, then draw out the following conclusion:1. The students'general development level on self-regulated competence is low, and imbalanced dimensionally.2. The difference on self-regulated study between pre-college class and skill-training class is prominent.3.
