Experimental textbooks for senior high school students have been ruled out entirely. The essential spirit is that our education system is converted from test education to diathesis education.The result is a change in educational ideolog, educational objects, goal of teaching, teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching instruments etc .So we need to study the textbooks and their use .This paper studied the teaching practice using the new senior math textboo-k-- book one. By using the methods of referring to the related nationaland international literature, we did the questionnaire, brainstorming between the teachers and the students, exchanging the experience about new textbooks teaching. This paper introduced the background of how the new textbooks created and analyzed the major contents, characteristics and the shortcomings of the new textbooks.Based on the things above,it was greed that we should change the t-eaching ideology, keystones and difficulties must be stressed in class teaching; we must what the new textbooks intend;explain how to deal with questions that arise.Class teaching should meet the students'needs of different levels,how to understand the question for discussion,or research; and applay the rules-governing the solution of the mathematical problem.This textbook on Math is part of series will be updated as improvements be come apparent. I hope that my teaching practice and the research on the new textbook could provide some the reference and advice for the continued use of it. And I hope it will provide some valuable materials for editing the senior curricular plan and the teaching outline.
