There are more than 11 type of new textbooks for junior high school that been audited by national teaching material auditing committee after ministry of education issued the standard of compulsory education math curricular in July 2001. Shanghai issued new junior high school math textbook based on new curricular standard in September 2005. It is necessary and valuable that make comparison in textbooks writing before and after the standard reform and research on how teacher used the new textbooks. The research is based on text compare and questionnaire. There are difference between five versions of textbooks on present order, present form, quantity and types of examples and exercises on linear equation in one variable through text compare. Base on the difference between new and old textbooks, we focus on the change of teaching point and how to help student to solve equation problem in new teaching material. Through questionnaire research on Shanghai Pudong teacher, the conclusion is the following: 1. There are dispute between teachers on edition of linear equation in one variable advance integrity. 2. The teacher's view on quantity, form and difficulty of example and exercises of teaching material is different. 3. The usage of exploration and reading material in new textbook is not optimism. 4. 47.6 percent of teachers take in the missing content of old teaching textbook but still teach it. The view of teacher is a little bit different from the view of textbook editors. Finally this author put some suggestions to teachers and textbook editors on the conclusion of the research.
