A Study On Transforming Of Urban Community Population Management

During the transition period, population management has enjoyed intense interest from all circles in the society. The researches of population management in community are mainly focusing on two aspects: one is the reform of household registration system or floating population management, which emphasizes on controlling; the other cares about the aged, the poverty, community education, community service, and so on, which stresses on service.Based on the imperfect of urban population management and the consequent social problems, this dissertation, in the perspectives of management and service, studies systematically on the transforming of community population management and discusses the way to promote urban population management.The dissertation adopts the problem-oriented method.Firstly, defines the concept of urban community and community population management, and tells the differences and relations with community population management and grass-root population management.Secondly, with detailed information and data, it analyzes the forming and the features of traditional pattern of community population management, the change of circumstance, and the consequent problems.Thirdly, analyzes community development in west countries and community building in our country, and compares the subject, object, contents of community population management in our country with that in west countries .Lastly, explores the idea, principles, the framework of new pattern and the influence of informationization on community population management; three levels of community informationization are also discussed.
