Education assumes the responsibilities of arousing man's subject sense, and developing man's subject ability, and Chinese, which is regarded as one of the important subjects in the elementary education, is no exception. It is pointed out in the paper that cooperative learning provides the development of students' subjectivity with practical possibility. Chinese cooperative learning is not only an important approach to promote the growth of students' subjectivity, but it also has a great advantage of developing students' subjectivity. Therefore, based on the theoretical interpretation and the investigation and analysis of the present situation of students' subjectivity, the paper tries to probe into the possibility and necessity of advancing students' subjectivity by means of Chinese cooperative learning and also makes a preliminary exploration concerning how to develop students' subjectivity through Chinese cooperative learning.The thesis is composed of the following four parts:Part one , the theoretical interpretation and exploration of the development of students' subjectivity in the Chinese cooperative learning. This part interprets the connotation of subjectivity and Chinese cooperative learning and the characteristics of students' subjectivity, and probes into the possibility of promoting students' subjectivity in the Chinese cooperative learning. Also it includes the theory of constructivism which supplies the development of students' subjectivity in the Chinese cooperative learning with the theoretical support, and the unique functions of Chinese cooperative learning.Part two, the investigation and reflection of the present situation of students' subjectivity in the Chinese teaching of a secondary school. First, the paper presents the results of survey questionnaire in the form of statistical graph. Then the present situation of students' subject lack in the Chinese teaching of the secondary school is analyzed from three respects: the essential lack of students' participation as subjects, the unbalance of students' subject participation, and the improper implementation of Chinese cooperative learning. Finally, it expounds the necessity of developingstudents' subjectivity in the Chinese cooperative learning.Part three, developing students' subjectivity in the course of Chinese cooperative learning. This part is the focal point of the thesis. The necessary basis of carrying out the Chinese cooperative learning is clarified mainly in the following several sections: the establishment of Chinese cooperative learning team, the training of social skills, the appropriate involvement of teachers in the cooperative learning and content selection of Chinese cooperative learning. And then it probes the implement strategy of Chinese cooperative learning of the secondary school.Part four, The problems needing attention in the Chinese cooperative learning. First, paying attention to combine cooperative learning team with the collective learning in classroom. Second, also paying attention to combine cooperative learning, independent learning with exploratory learning.
