Now, Integrating IT into curriculum has become the breach of the new round curriculum reform of primary education in China. With the rapid development of the technology of the Web, more and more teachers and students of Middle school and Primary school are familiar with the web. Using the web in classroom becomes the theme of reform of primary education. But few learning resource can be used directly. Special-topic-study website, which has been said to be useful.Based on a large quantity of literature research, I figured out the connotations, implementation of the web project-based instruction and learning strategy. Using the Interpretative Structural Modeling Method, The paper analyses the relationship between the elements of the teaching system based on the special-topic-study website, and constructed the structure of the teaching system based on the special-topic-study website.Besides, based on the analysis of twenty-five lessons used special-topic-study website, the paper summarizes the character of the special-topic-study website-based teaching, with the Content Analysis Method. Under the guidance of the theories of constructional learning theory, informational instructional design and with the reference of the collaborative and cooperative learning theory, the paper discusses three main typical special-topic-study website-based instructional models, which are "special-topic inquire and website-construction" modeK"situated-inquire" model and "collaborative -learning" model.In order to research into the effect and limitation of the models, case study has been carried out in one primary school. Cooperating with the teachers of ShenZhen primary school, we are taking two of the three models into practice by designing and constructing a special-topic-study website, which is called "the wonderful world of animal" . During the design and construction of the website, "special-topic inquire and website -construction" model has been practised, during the use of the website, "situated-inquire" model has been practised. Based on the information that has been gathered from the classroom observation, interviews with teachers and students, and teachers' reflections, the effect of the models has been discussed. This study offered recommendations about how to design and use special-topic-study website in teaching to teachers and future related research.
