Chinese Urban Community Residents Realization Of Autonomy

With the reform of Dan Wei system and the development of marketing economy, urban community gradually becomes the strategic field of democratic construction. Thus community democracy becomes a new growing point in the development of Chinese democracy, and community residents' self-governance, as the direct form of community democracy, obtains a favorable developing chance.This thesis starts with the review of history and status quo of residents' self-governance, analyses the problems existing in current practice of residents' self-governance. From the exploration of domestic experimental cities, it summarizes some feasible experience and then conceives of the realizing approach of residents' self-governance. Alteration of the functions of the government is the initial premise of residents' self-governance; Systematic innovation of the organization of residents' self-governance is the systematic guarantee of residents' self-governance; Development of community intermediary organization is the social guarantee of residents' self-governance; Development of residents' community participation is the mass basis of residents' self-governance; Effectively playing the leading core role of community party organization is the political guarantee of developing residents' self-governance.Residents' self-governance is a systematic project, and its realizing approach (general path) is an organic system, the interaction of the five sub-paths constitutes the general path of residents' self-governance.
