As a pure natural science, Mathematics is a major dynamics to the practical science. The research of mathematical education courses also plays an important role in the development of both China and Korea. The main purpose of this thesis is to have an insight into the changes of the mathematical education courses in Middle School between China and Korea, to study the social and cultural backgrounds by comparing the mathematical education courses in Middle School in Chain with that in Korea. And it is to study the major changes, the developing aims and their reason of the courses mentioned above in the two countries. Also the thesis researches the effects and developing direction of the courses above. More specifically, the thesis1.Gives an amount of the concepts and types of mathematical education courses in Middle School.2. Compares and analyses the educational systems, the aims of education and the characteristics of the present education by comparing the courses mentioned above in China with that in Korea.3. Compares and analyses the similarites and differences in the field of mathematical education by comparing the teaching materials of Maths-such as the amount of exercies, the amount of chapters and sections-in Middle School.What's more, this thesis tells about how to contribute to the mathematical education courses for the researchers in China and Korea, and the problem of direction that people related to mathematical education should work hard to.
