The reform of evaluation is an important item of curriculum reform, in fact the reform of evaluation involves not only the change of concept but also the change of the method. So under this background, portfolio assessment as a new method of evaluation was induced into our country and was researched in theory and practice. And in the practice of portfolio assessment, while we concern the construction the theory of portfolio assessment, we must give much attention to the teachers who were in the practice of this method at the same time. We must know whether the teachers adapt to this new method, what questions they met, and what they need. As we do that ,we can provide the new question for the research of the theory .I use the method of qualitive research. In this research, as an observer-as-participant, I observe the teachers for about a semester, have discussions with the teachers as while, and I get a lot of useful information by this way.This article was consist of four sections:Section one, interpret the chosen of the method and object of the research, and analyze the validity the research.Section two, construct the theory of portfolio assessment involve the meaning, the characteristic, the function, the type and the practice of portfolio assessment.Section three, represent the observation and the conclusion of the research from aspect of the concept and the practice of the teachers and the administer of the school.Section four, provide the strategy to promote the adoption of single teacher and the whole school.
