Nowadays the socialist market economy system has been established initially, the reform and opening up has been developing in depth, and the rapid changes have taken place in all the fields of our society, which is also undertaking in the teenagers' sense of value, mode of thinking and way of life.Facing the changes above , the schools' moral education is revealing tremendous shortcomings disagreed with the social development, therefore, building the new mode and enhancing the pragmatism of the moral education became a fundamental and crucial problem placed ahead of us. Although a great deal of discussion, from different aspects, has been done in theory and practice, there is still one problem left puzzling our explorers to moral education, which we have been working for during a long time, doesn' t turn out to be successful as our wish, and it became harder for us to carry on the career, but why? of course, it lies in the impropriety of understanding, the lack of the content and the mechanical ness of ways in moral education activities, a multitude of factors restrict the effect of it.As a explorer of the moral education, he must develop what is useful or healthy and discard what is not to our traditional moral education mode, pursuing and building the new one wh'ich adjusts to the current situation of social development and the students' requirement of virtue development. Generally speaking, this paper attempts to proceed from the current situation of moral education in schools, studythe necessity and possibility for building the new mode of moral education and seek for the training policies and key ways.The whole essay contains three chapters: chapter one is to analysis the current situation and cause of formation; chapter two is to expound the pragmatism and necessity for enhancing the moral education; chapter three is to put forward the ways and policies for reforming the middle schools' moral education and improving its pragmatism.
