Education are facing severe challenges in 21st century, era of knowledge and study, school education has to take; the fundamental task of making students learn to conduct themselves, seek knowledge, lead a compatible life, subsist and grow; what' s more, it' s of importance to cultivate the spirit of bringing forth new ideas and the ability of practice. Research-type course, which is established up to needs, is attempting to have a further reformation of courses in our basic education.At present, the theory of research-typte course is still in primary stage, and its exploit and implement are still under continuous thus go on developing.This paper focus on some researches on research-type course, such as its perspective, its basis of theory and practice, its developing situation at domestic and abroad, discussion of its model, its prospect for the future and so on.Especially, the most important is how to inquire into its models of practice, so as to advance quality education and put the reformation of basic education into effect.
