Environment From A Sociological Perspective Ecological Migration And Community Building

The problems of ecological environment and poverty are the results of natural and social ecology unbalance. In China, the ecological environment problem is becoming more and more serious, especially in the western regions. Since the 1990s, the local governments of these regions have taken ecological resettlement as a means to solve the ecological environment and poverty problems, and to speed the construction of small towns.This article is an attempt of ecological resettlement research. I have taken a unique angle of ecological sociology, with positive research methods. I have investigated a migration community, and described its general situation of immigrants and ecological environment. I find that these immigrants have reflected the aim and process of community construction. Migration community is the carrier to realize ecological purposes. In this sense the concrete conditions of community construction reflect the functions representation of migration.Now the migration only takes effect in the phrase of community shaping. People haven't thought much of ecological environment in concept. These result in limits in the realization of ecological objective to a certain extent. From the angle of ecological sociology, such migration needs to strengthen the follow-up work or to reflect a sustained process, so as to provide good conditions for the construction of migration community. In a word, as a creative measure to solve the ecological environment and poverty problems in the western regions, ecological resettlement has realized its hoped-for objective to a considerable extent. It has advanced the balance of natural and social ecology positively. But there are still some problems we should not neglect. The construction of migration community should realize transformation or promotion in thoughts, and reflect the needs of community construction in content. All these should be carried out in the theory and practice of migration and migration community.The first chapter of this article introduces the theory background, the research methods and the analysis structure. The second chapter tells thebackground and function of migration in the research spot. The next chapter describes the environment, structure and function of the community, and analyzes the universality of community life. The fourth chapter uses case study to show the whole scene of migration and community construction, and the family life particularity of community members. The last chapter concludes the whole article, and puts forward my thoughts on ecological resettlement and community construction from the viewpoint of ecological sociology.
