Research And Development, It Training Courses Based On The Theme Of Resource Teachers

Having worked as a trainer to develop elementary school and high school teachers' qualities of IT for years, the author discovers that the old training system is problematic. Therefore, in order to solve the problems, an action research on a topic-resource-based curriculum development has been carried out. To test the effects of the topic-resource-based curriculum, an experiment has been conducted. 50 high school IT teachers from Yangjiang City and 56 elementary school teachers from Yangchun City served as the subjects. By analyzing the data collected from this experiment, we got the following results:Firstly, the topic-resource-based curriculum for developing teacher's IT qualities is unique because the training contents which are information technology and the modern education theories are perfectly combined. Following this curriculum, the trainees were arranged a variety of course activities to help them to develop their ability to establish topic-resource websites. The assessment of the trainee's achievement in the training program is that whether he could be successful in establishing a topic-resource website.Secondly, the topic-resource-based curriculum for developing teachers' IT qualities is generative, dynamic, constructive, interactive, subjective and practical.Thirdly, the objective of the topic-resource-based curriculum developing for training teacher's IT qualities is to dynamically construct a generative, constructive, and interactive new curriculum for developing elementary school and high school teachers' IT qualities by means of establishing and as well as learning via the topic-resource-based website.Fourthly, the mode of the developing the topic-resource-based curriculum is dynamic, democratic, constructive, cooperative and generative. What's more, the assessment of the effect of such curriculum also is dynamic and generative.
