A Research Into The Demands School-based Curriculum Development Imposes On Teachers

School- based curriculum development has been developed since the 1980s. At present, school-based curriculum development is one of the important parts in our new round curriculum reform of elementary education. We have implemented national curriculum development for a long time, teachers have always played the role of passive implementation, however, teachers are the most important participants in school-based curriculum development, they must play the role of curriculum decision-making, curriculum design, curriculum active implementation and curriculum evaluation. Therefore teachers must change their roles to make school-based curriculum development carried out smoothly, teachers must have some qualities to change their roles. The change of their roles and the improvement of their qualities must impose demands on our teacher education. There are three main parts in the paper.
