Theoretical Innovation And Its Social Value

Theoretical innovation, being the drive of theoretical evolution, life of theory and powerful drive of ushering in social advancement, certainly is the hot issue in current theory circle. Theoretical innovation is a wide concept, involving politics, economics, philosophy, culture, arts and so on, with Marxist theoretical innovation being its most important aspect. This thesis, beginning with the research on theoretical innovation, endeavors to master the connotation, social value and path of theoretical innovation in the light of philosophy. Scientific comprehension and mastery of connotation of theoretical innovation is the basis of comprehending the historical and realistic value of theoretical innovation and the basis of setting its sound path. Its social value is the key to our understanding deeply its significance, urgency, and drive. Only when sound path is followed, can theoretical innovation be achieved truly.This thesis expounds its connotation and social value in three parts.In the first part, the author, beginning with its definition, expounds systematically the connotation of theoretical innovation from the dimension of content and form, theory and practice. At the same time, the comprehension of its connotation is depended by expounding its types and features.In the second part, the author divides its social value into historical value and realistic value, and by stating its newly historical value expounds its role in social development; and by stating its newly realistic value in nowaday's society is illustrated. In a whole, by stating the above two parts, significance of the research on theoretical innovation is formulated.In the third parts, in the author's opinion, only by following the method of practical-problem-centered, setting scientific thinking ways, adopting the means of integrating criticizing and innovation, and sticking to the path of practice being standard, can theoretical innovation be achieved.
