Along with the reform in educational systems, more and more intellectuals have begun to realize an urgent problem that humanism should be advocated in classroom teaching and that knowledge and humanism should be well combined in education. This paper illustrates the history, the present condition and the development tendency of humanism education and discusses the necessity, the feasibility and the strategy of permeating humanism in chemistry education with the purpose of finding a way to constructing humanism in class teaching and combine it with knowledge properly in chemistry. Ihe aim of the paper is to help students develop fully, harmoniously and perfectly, and thus foster high-quality students to meet the high demands in the modern world, which is also an important part of the teaching reform in chemistry.
