At present, China has altogether 6.45 million elementary school teachers with 65% of them in countryside. The qualification and professionalism of this huge group will directly influence the overall quality of Chinese fundamental education as well as the future national quality. The author observed the macro professionalism development situation of both foreign and domestic teachers and under this background made an investigation of the qualification of elementary school teachers of Fushun County to probe into the current situation of countryside elementary school teachers' professionalism; and on this basis put forward some countermeasures for professionalism of the countryside elementary school teachers that are suitable for the countryside situation. |
