The concept, model and technology of self-management were proposed bypsychologists in the 1970s, which inspired educators to generate models of student'sself-management in study, daily life and moral behavior. However, empirical study instudent's self-management of moral behavior lacks depth. In addition, the quality andquantity of student enrollment of middle vocational school drops years by years,which leads to many problems of psychology, intelligence, morality and behaviorin the middle-vocational-school students. With middle-vocational-school students asinvestigation subject, the study focuses on the characters and differentiations of theirmoral-behavior self-management at the different psychological levels. The studyaims to provide theoretical support to moral education in vocational schools in theperspective of psychology.The subjects are students chosen from three middle vocational schools inShanghai. Based on eight hypotheses (arranged in seven psychological stages), twokey representations and three contexts of moral behavior questionnaire with validityis designed for them to answer, which serves as the basis of investigation.The result shows that:1,The seven psychological stages of moral-behavior self-management ofmiddle-vocational-school students arranged by scores from highest to lowest areemotion control, self evaluation, objective and planning, self supervision,environmental self-control, self-consolidation, emotional feedback. The generalpicture is normal distribution with more students in the middle than these in the twoends. The number of students with highest score is marginally more than that withlowest score;2,There is no significant difference between different grades;3,Moral-behavior self-management of the female students is significantlybetter than male students;4,Moral-behavior self-management of middle-vocational-school students withdifferent majors is different significantly;5,There is no sharp difference of moral-behavior self-management ofmiddle-vocational-school students with regard to helping others and honesty.6,Moral-behavior self-management of middle-vocational-school students issignificantly different in family, community and school with scores from high to low.
