University Teacher Appointment System, China And The United States Comparative Analysis And China To Promote Strategic Research

Universities and colleges are the cradle of higher-quality talents, the soil of new ideas, new knowledge, new theories and new techniques, the base of transaction of technique and the beacon of society's progress. The function of university and college is becoming more and more important in the knowledge-oriented economic times. With the great change in economic system and the mode of economic growth, the status and function are being emphasized. Besides enough treasure and well-equipped facilities, faculty is the soul of a university and college. To establish a well-qualified faculty system is the main task of faculty management. Faculty employment system is sound in America, study America's faculty employment system, we can benefit from it.In this paper, I first studied the history and actuality of China's and America's faculty employment system, summarized the characteristics of both systems. Then under the guidance of target management theory, performance theory and stimulus theory, I established a faculty employment system suitable for China's actual condition.In the first chapter, I introduced the basic concept, the train of thought and the method of study, which are related to faculty employment. In the second and third chapter, the history, actuality and characteristics of America's faculty employment system had been analyzed. In the forth and fifth chapter, the history, actuality and characteristics of China's faculty employment system had been analyzed. In the sixth chapter, a suitable faculty employment system was established in the aspects of post setting, employment policy and procedure, evaluation policy, salary standard, welfare system and policy security system. In the seventh chapter, I put forward some advise for government, society, universities and teachers to ensure the successful actualization of the faculty employment system in universities and colleges.
