It is an unarguable fact that the teaching of composition in Chinese plays an extremely role in the middle school. However, the teaching of Chinese composition in the middle school is not in a pleasant state but a weak one. The major problem is that there is lack of effective way to get the students motivated and interested, to foster the students' creative thinking, and to open up the way of thinking for composition; and that there is no combination of the fostering of the students' creative thinking and training in composition teaching. Creative education is the choice of China's education in the 21st century and based on the teaching of every subject. Creative teaching in composition lies on the fostering of creative thinking. To solve the present problems in the composition teaching of the middle school, and to get the students improved in composition, it is a must to make it a program in the Chinese teaching and research that the teacher gets the students motivated and interested and to think in a creative way in the teaching of composition. This thesis is to make a discussion on the fostering the students' interest and creative thinking in the teaching of composition, focusing on how to foster the students' creativity in the composition and make a new creation in the teaching of composition.
