Along with the deepening of the reform of education, the problem of school-based curriculum has become the focus of contemporary curriculum reform in fundamental education. The development of school-based curriculum is the antipode to the development of national curriculum. New ideas such as the development of students, equal opportunity for education, all-staff participation and strategic integrity are advocated in the school-based curriculum which play a important role for the development of teachers' individual characters' characteristics of a school as well as the development of teachers' careers and for the cultivation of all-round personnel. The development of the school-based curriculum, which generally includes environmental analysis, the working out of the goal and scheme as well as the implementation and appraisal, is a dynamic and consecutive process. The development of geographic school-based curriculum agrees with the standard of new geography lesson while geographic lessons on local places are an important aspect in the school-based curriculum. The development of geographic lessons on local places can make the activity lessons and elective course more normal and advanced so as to effectively improve the teaching of geography and enhance the overall quality and ability of the students so that geographic lessons on local places may be taught more scientifically. This essay based on the Characteristics of Teachers' School Which take the development of geographic Lessons on Local Places of JianShui as an example, Regarding the elective course as a basic forms and carry on the fundamental study and Practically exploration in development of School-based Curriculum on geographic Lessons. Not only do teachers form a new idea, but also enhance the teachers' awareness of course and ability of the development of school-based curriculum whichenhance the quality of teachers as well as enrich the course content of school which more embody characteristics of Teachers' School.
