Faced with the current situation of rapid development of human society,China has put forward the policy of deepening education reform and promoting quality education in an all-round way.Only by striving to improve the overall quality of our country can we further enhance our national strength.In December 2017,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China promulgated the Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition),which put forward the basic requirements for cultivating students' core qualities in geography education.Compared with other disciplines in middle school,geography is more practical.Local curriculum resources are closely related to students' real life and have strong applicability.The use of local geography teaching is an important guarantee to implement the core quality of geography.Using local curriculum resources to cultivate high school students' geographic practical ability is based on the familiar environment and things to transfer geographic knowledge,to develop students' potential practical ability and quality,to effectively shape students' core geographic literacy,to cultivate students' geographic practical ability,and to promote the reform of the new geography curriculum in high schools in China.However,in the process of geography education,the application of local geographical resources is facing many obstacles,and the emphasis on the cultivation of geographical practice is not high.Taking Chengdu as an example,the author studies the cultivation of high school students' geography practical ability based on local curriculum resources.In the first part,on the basis of reading the relevant literature,the background,significance,current situation and research content of this paper are sorted out,the research direction is initially established,and the technical road map of this paper is drawn.The second part defines the concepts of the main research objects,and combs the main theoretical basis of this study,including pedagogical psychology theory,philosophical theory and geography teaching theory,to provide theoretical basis for the study of this paper.In the third part,the author investigates the current situation of cultivating Geographical Practice Ability Based on local curriculum resources in Chengdu by means of interviews and questionnaires,exploring the existing problems and causes.In the fourth part,aiming at the problems existing in the process of cultivating geographical practical ability,the author puts forward the cultivation principles and ways of utilizing local curriculum resources.The fifth part sorts out the local resources of Chengdu,designs cases suitable for cultivating senior high school students' geographical practical ability,and applies them to geography teaching.The sixth part puts forward the shortcomings and prospects of this study.
