Recent years, the educational workers in our country combine the study on theory and on experiment standing on the height of modern education. And they also have a brave reform on junior mathematics. They change the monetary standard from subjects to the development of students. Their hard working is with the view to providing the beneficial condition for the development in full scale of the students and the improvement of qualities.In each experimental district, cooperative learning is coming into wide use as one of the tactics encouraged in the curriculum reform. The author, as a teacher working in the front-line of educational circles, cares the blindness and the formalization existing in the implement of the tactic. Seeing that, the teacher on the basis of her years of teaching experiment in junior mathematics, she combines the development of regular pattern of body and mind and the trait of junior mathematics in her experiment. All her work is to get result of the tactic be applied in junior mathematics teaching. This article first analyzes the abuse existing in current cooperative learning in mathematics and discusses the meaning of cooperative learning. Based on this, the study, with the distinctive and real examples in mathematics teaching, approaches the role for the teacher from the three perspectives as an organizer, a cooperator and a guider. To be an organizer, it narrates exhaustively the aspects on how to make clear on the aims, to choose the proper material, to divide into groups rationally, to create the questionable circumstances, and to build a cooperative atmosphere. To be a cooperator, it gives many critical suggestions on the details, such as to survey the development of the students, to listen to their voice, to communicate the process of thinking, and to share the result of studying. And to be a guide, it inquires into the perspectives on encouraging students to participate in, activating their former knowledge, and stimulating them to rethinking.The article also studies the result of the experiment by means of questionnaires and interview talking. It outcomes that the proper position for the teacher can help the students taste the friendly sentiment, sense the self-esteem, strengthen the self-confidence. Besides that, it will teach them the way of learning and improve their achievement.
