As the focus of the contemporary society, life has now become the orientation of Chinese school education. Accordingly, the classroom practice, which is the basic activity of school education, turns into the essential and vital element that determines the educational achievement of life-centered education. Based on the outline of "the expounding of the new ideology - the status quo - practical exploration", the author is trying to build a humanistic framework of classroom practice in this thesis.Education is species-specific on the ground that human beings are of unique double-existence - both material and spiritual. Hence, the essence of education would be — life-concerned. In another words, it should involve communication and mutual integration between individual lives and comply with the developmental law of life. In a word, its entire goal is laid on the growth of life. Luckily, Chinese education is on its way returning to its essence, its central attention having been drawn from society to individuals, from fragment of human to the whole person, till the prominence of the life-awareness in the design of the new national curriculum.However, due to the neglect of life, the current situation of classroom is still not so satisfactory: the pervasively existent monotonous education goal setting, discipline, remoteness from real life etc. Knowledge gains the dominant status in class, while the development of affective, attitude and moral cultivation, which play important roles in the growth process of life, are put in an attached position. Therefore, it is high time that we constructed a new type of classroom practice model, which embodies the tenet of life-oriented education and the new curriculum.We name this new type of practice "life-centered classroom practice ", setting its goal as promoting free, comprehensive, characteristic development of life, showing respect for the originality and creativity of life. It should conform to the ideology of the new curriculum and reform the traditional classroom practice thoroughly, shifting its emphasis from "teaching" to "learning", from "teacher lecturing" to "students experiencing", from "books" back to "real life" so that the classroom can genuinely exhibit great vitality. In the light of this principle, some initial theoretical thinking and practical exploration are made from the aspects of the relationship between students and teachers in class, classroom resources, life-centered classroom teaching and classroom management. We firmly believe that with the further progress of the new curriculum and the prominence of the life-centered education, this new type of classroom practice will definitely be fully realized in the practical classroom.
