School normal educations in China and Britain have their own advantages. Each of them has a certain aspect of the research in school normal education. They are the result of school normal education practice. Therefore both of their existence has special background and important value of study. In order to offer some valuable thoughts to school normal education in our country during the new era, it studies school normal education under different social and cultural condition and compares school normal education in China with that of Britain.This article has three main parts.In the first part, it put focus on the basic questions of school normal education. The first layer of this part analyses the meaning of normal education and normal education method, and the structure of school normal education method. The second layer discusses the theory, principle and value of comparison between different normal education methods.In the second part, it mainly compares Chinese normal education method with British normal education method. According to the comparison with two countries' normal education form, the first layer points out the development of two countries' normal education method. The second layer introduces Chinese normal education method and its character, British normal education method and its character at the same time. Basing on the comparison between two countries' normal education method, the third layer draws a conclusion upon the common figure in two countries' normal education practice.The last part describes some inspiration that obtains from the comparison between two countries' normal education method. The article considers: it's necessary to set up the school normal education with Chinese character which influences people gradually; school normal education need enrich its methods; it must break through the limitation of some old ideas, inspire a new system; school normal education should take the cultivation of national spirit as its backbone; it ought to pay more attention to basic normal quality while facing great competition.
