With a very long-time history and splendid national culture ,China likes a magnificent beautiful garden.Chinese literature is an exotic flower in it .It is blossoming in radiant splendour, and it's unique forms of beauty have influenced thousands of the Chinese nation. While we are teaching Chinese language, we should dig up the beauty of literary works, and lead the students to appreciate and taste the forms of its beauty. In order to let our students love our mother tongue , study it, inherit it, and develop it, we should alsoanalyse the forms of its beauty , understand the themes of it, grasp the feelings of writers' in it ,learn the writers' way of creating in it ,and improve the levels of students for beauty appreciation.This paper focuses on the relationship between the teaching of Chinese language for senior school students and the five elementary forms of beauty : exquisiteness,loftiness,funniness,ugliness and tragedies.To appreciate the exquisiteness in the textbooks for senior school students,to learn the loftiness in the textbooks for senior school students,to taste the effect and function of funniness in the textbooks for senior school students,to feel the strength of tragedies in the textbooks for senior school students ,and how to observe and regard the ugly characters in the textbooks for senior school students are the five parts in this paper.Be guided by this theory in our Chinese language teaching for senior school students,we will get twice the result with half the effort.
