The present era ,rapid changes in science and technology with each passing day.Meanwhile the increaningly integrated global economy has come into being ,which bases on the combination of Knowledge Economy with information and technology.It is an important and urgent duty for the elementary education to foster diligently a new generation who has initiative spirit and practice ability As the learning style which new curriculum reform advocates in the new turn curriculum reform , inquiry learning has irreplaceable function in training students'initiative spirit and practice ability.Inquiry learning is still in the exploration and popularization stage in our country, its relevant theory and practice have not been mastered by the majority of middle school teachers yet.So it needs general educational theorists and general teachers conduct the thorough research and practice constantly and go on deepening discussion to inquiry learning combining discipline,only in this way could make it really function in the new curriculum reform , finishing the goal of the new turn curriculum reform of elementary education smoothly.Adopting literature research,practical cases research etc, this thesis makes an exploration and research systematically from two aspects of theory and practice in the instructional design of middle school chemistry inquiry learning.There are four parts in this thesis as follows:The first part summarizes inquiry learning. The definition of inquiry learning.is bounded and.some relative concepts such as project leaning. cooperative learning, self-regulated learning etc are bounded and discriminated;The types of inquiry learning are introduced;internal terms and external terms.of inquiry learning are analyzed,combining chemical discipline.The second part discusses the theoretical bases of the instructional design of the middle school chemistry inquiry learning. This thesis make an discussion and illustration from constructivism theory, multiple intellegences theory, modern instructional design theory and the characteristics of chemistry.The third part, which is the most important part ,discusses and illustrats the basic contents of the instructional design of middle school chemistry inquiry learning. Acorrding to the theoretical bases of the instructional design of middle school chemistry inquiry learning? it carrys on the discussion and explaination to the design of principles,objectives,content choice and analysis,instructional strategies and avaluation. realizing the operation of inquiry learning.The last part selects and avaluates two practical cases of the instructional design of middle school chemistry inquiry learning to give reference for study and practice.
