China of the 21st century has been experiencing an important periodof transformation. The visualization of marketization, informationism andglobalization brings to China the most severe challenge, as well as theopportunities that have never appeared before. Whether we can gainadvantage from these changes depends on how developed our educationwill be, which also can not escape from the teachers with goodoccupational ethics to a large degree. The innovational points of thisthesis are to grasp the trends of the educational development in the futurefrom the characteristics of China's social and economical changes in thenew period, thus to clarify the main requirements and thecountermeasures for the realization of the teachers' occupational ethics,and to explore that topic in the new period from a new point of view.Based on the Marxism educative ethics and directed by the dialecticphilosophy of education, this thesis relates closely the problem ofteachers' ethical construction with the demands of China's socialdevelopment and the actual situation of teachers' ethical development byusing the scientific and systemic thoughtways to combine inheritancewith innovation, holisticness with segmentality, and objectivity withsubjectivity. The thesis discusses those questions from three levelsbecause of the limits of the length. First, it clarifies the great significanceof the teachers' ethical construction from the points of the mainrequirements of the construction of the socialism modernization, thenotable changes of the educational situation and the demands of teachers'self-consummation. Second, it defines the main requirements of theteachers' ethical construction of the new period from the principles ofsocialism, market economy and carrying forward the brilliant traditionalethics. Third, it raises the countermeasures of the teachers' ethicalconstruction from the social environment, the educational work of theschools and the teachers' culture on their own. Each level stated above isclosely related to the demands of our social development and the mainrequirements of the educational changes, follow the laws of teachers'ethnical development, whose main requirements and countermeasures forits realization are made to join the teachers' reality, as well as to reflectthe era's features, and is co-related with each other, forming a organicwhole from the macroscopical level.To develop the teachers' fine occupational ethics and cultivateteachers of high quality, the teachers should make great efforts to enhancetheir own culture and besides, a good social environment to progress thedevelopment the teachers' ethics is also necessary.
