High Teacher-student Ethics Awareness Survey And Educational Countermeasures

The teachers'occupational morality consciousness is the deep-seated structure of the teachers'occupational morality, and it is the inherent occupational morality. It can also guide the occupational moral behavior of teachers. As the normal universities are the base of cultivating teachers, it is one of their important tasks to carry out the education of teachers'occupational morality consciousness, which is resulted from the status quo of education of teachers'occupational in the normal universities, the particularity of this profession, and the physical and psychological characteristics of undergraduate students as well. However, in a long period of time, since the normal universities of our country, just like the other comprehensive universities, pay much attention to the idealistic-political education and ignore the education of teachers'occupational morality consciousness, which has brought many unsatisfied results. So it is necessary to enhance the research of the teachers'occupational morality consciousness of undergraduate in normal universities.In this thesis, the basic structure of the teachers'occupational morality consciousness is discussed from a combined point of view, the combination of the three levels of teachers'occupational morality consciousness with the four basic moral relations of teacher's occupation. The research is based on questionnaires surveys assisted with talks and interviews. The subjects are university students from eight different majors like Chinese, Mathematics, English, History and so forth.The statistical results of the study reveal that firstly, teachers'occupational morality consciousness of undergraduates in normal universities is active and at high level in general though some of the students are at low level, especially shown in the respect of affection; secondly, between the male students and female students, the students majoring in liberal arts and the students majoring in science there's no prominent discrepancy in teachers'occupational morality consciousness; thirdly, there's discrepancy in recognition, affection, and action of teachers'occupational...
