With the development of social economy, due to increasingly worseningexisting environment, the environment problems have become the mostoutstanding social problems for the whole world. The only way to solve theenvironment problems is to enhance the environment education, to increasepeople's environment consciousness, to face up to environment andenvironment problems correctly. Only when people could coordinate theirbehaviors with environment and take an active part in protectingenvironment, could the environment problems be solved completely.The environment education is not only the important part ofenvironmental protection business, but also an important constitution ofeducation business. In our country's teaching outline of environmentaleducation, it makes a clear and definite demand, that is, for all majorsthat universities, colleges and vocational schools have, the course ofcontinuous development and environment protection must be set up.Vocational secondary education is an important part of the whole educationsystem. Strengthening environment education is very instructive. Incarrying out strategies of making a country strong by science and education,environment education plays an important role in it. It can greatly increaseworkers' character, promote economic and social development. Environmenteducation is not only an indispensable part of current moral education,it's also a demand to push forward character education, and what's more,it's an important foundation to carry out the strategies of continuouseconomic development. To value the environmental protection, to value theenvironment education, and to value the cultivation of the citizen'senvironmental manners, have become necessary demands for coordinating withdevelopment of economy, society and culture, as well as the demand forincreasing comprehensive national strength .The environment education regards trans-course activities ascharacteristic. It's a kind of educational science for arousing theeducated's environmental consciousness, making them understand the mutualrelationships between mankind and environment, developing the skills ofsolving environment problems, setting up correct view of value and owninga proper attitude to environment. Environment education is an impact ontraditional education, it is an overall education process. Its contentscan be divided into five parts, which include the education of environmentalconsciousness, of environmental protection knowledge, of arts, ofenvironmental protection virtues, of scientific techniques inenvironmental protection. Its purpose is to enhance the educated's levelsof environment awareness, to understand the relations between environmentand their own existence and development, to handle the relations betweenhuman and nature in moral way, to foster environmental protecting sense,to set up correct environmental view of value, and to take an active partin protecting our living environment in use of environmental knowledge andskills. Thus, we can successfully carry out our strategies of continuousdevelopment.Having correct view of value for environment is the premise for peopleto solve the environment problem. Only when people have to know exactlythe importance of environment for mankind's existence and development,would they respect the nature, have the sense of protecting environment,and undertake the responsibility to protect the environment. Undoubtly theenvironment education play an important role of guilding people to set upa new thought.From the realistic meaning of environment education, aiming at thepresent situation that vocational secondary students have weakenvironmental consciousness and faint moral manners in environment, on thebasis of the theory of Marxism – the thought about the relations betweenhuman being and environment, the theory of continuous development, theauthor talks about the contents of environment education for vocationalsecondary students, and attempts to find a valid way to carry outenvironment education. This thesis is divided into three parts: The firstpart discusses the meaning of environment education and its instructivefactors to enhance the environment education;The second part discussesthe support both from theory and realistic situation to strengthenenvironment education in vocational secondary school. The third partdiscusses contents and ways to start environment education in vocationalsecondary school.
