Using a self-made questionnaire, a study on learning strategy for high school students was conducted. 3293 high school students participated in this investigation, they were selected from 3 types of schools—key high schools, ordinary high schools and vocational high schools, respectively. The results showed: 1). Differences of learning strategy between the students from 3 types of schools were statistically significant, the students from key high schools had higher learning strategy level than those from ordinary high schools and vocational high schools. And different students had different learning strategy traits. 2). Differences of learning strategy between the 3-grade students were statistically significant, the strategy levels for both behavior managing and in-class learning was increased with the grade growth, but for the out-class learning, the tendency was decreased with the grade growth. 3). Differences of learning strategy between girls and boys was statistically significant, boys had higher learning strategy level than girls in general. 4). Compared with the ordinary students and poor students, the excellent students showed significant advantage in the level of useing learning strategies...
