This article, which consists four parts, expounds the practice and reflection of applying Multiple Intelligences (MI) Theory in history teaching in Tianjin Artistic School.Firstly, the author presents the reasons of applying Multiple Intelligences Theory in history teaching by relating to the characteristics of art students. And then the author makes a summary of MI theory which was put forward by Professor Howard Gardner, an American psychologist. Two cases of history teaching, in which MI theory is applied are presented in order to probe into how to reform history teaching and evaluate the results in a perspective of MI theory and exploit students' intelligent resource in history teaching. In the last part, the author concludes the results of the application, points out some problems and proposes her suggestions.
