The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (abbreviate as MI Theory) is a very attraction education theory which causes much attention in the American Education Reform. It comes into being a theory in 1980s. It gives important influence on some western countries' education reform. It also is fairly valuable for us to push forward our current course reform. But the practical researche in Chemistry teaching is very little. I try to carry out the MI Theory in Chemistry teaching of high school. According to MI Theory, the thesis is aimed at exploring the educational strategies of bringing MI Theory into Chemistry teaching, their effects on teaching and on the improvement of students' Intelligences in order to give some reference for our course reform. The article includes five parts. In chapter one, the writer expounds the article's background, significance and the historical background. In chapter two, the writer recommends the naissance, definition and content of the MI Theory and analyses MI Theory's enlightenment on basic education in the viewpoints of intelligence, students, curriculum, teaching and assessment, etc.In chapter three, the writer gives the teaching thoughts that apply MI Theory into teaching which is "teaching for Multiple Intelligences" and "use MI for teaching". In succession the modes of them are devised..In chapter four, depicting from the difference between traditional Assessment and MI Assessment, the writer introduce the principle, characteristic, mode and principal part of MI Assessment. In chapter five, the writer carries out the research of use the MI Theory in Chemistry teaching from teaching and assessment on the guidance of MI Theory. The teaching section contains project of Chemistry teaching, identification the kind and the core abilities of intelligences which need development and developing corresponding educational strategies. After that, two lesson-plan examples are provided and practice. The evaluation section uses a combined research method: qualitative research (questionnaires of Multiple Intelligences and tests) and quantities research (Portfolio, colloquia and questionnaires of students' assessment to Chemistry teaching in MI) , in order to find out their effects. In the last part, some conclusion comes into being from the analyses of the results to the assessment I think about the insufficiency and bring forward some suggestions. After analyzing, we find that: ①Chemistry teaching through MI Theory makes students feel study much pleasant and have better effects; ②MI Theory can speed students' intelligence development; ③MI Theory helps to cultivate students' thinking and the ability of self-study; ④MI Theory provides a good way to know our students; ⑤MI Theory can speed development of teachers' Multiple Intelligences, accumulations of teaching experience and skill exercise.
