In the middle school in our country, the phenomenon of give the nickname is very widespread. The reason is multiple: Some students give it to others based on the meticulous observation, and carry on the others' character objectively and tactfully, then give the nickname with deliberation;While some others are proceed from make practical joke and derision, neglect the feeling and self-dignity of the other students, laugh at the hard condition of the body blemish or families of classmates. Correspondently, different intention also results in different influence. Some think that call the nickname means very intimate, is the close performance between friends;others think it is humiliate, hurt a person's personality. So, how to treat the phenomenon of give nickname, put just the student's respect attitude to the others, raise social intercourse ability of the exaltation classmates, guide students treat the classmates and teacher from good, docilely aspect, provoke the writer's concern and thought.We carry out the investigation and theories elaboration about the nickname problem on middle school students from several aspects. First, we explicit the research meaning of middle school students' nickname, that is it reflects the middle school students' worth mindset , moral level and language accomplishment. Next, according to the data, we carry out the detailed introduction to the present domestic and international researches concerning middle school students' nickname, and analyzed the middle school students' inside motive and outside reasons of giving the nickname, we scoop out the theories and born mode of middle school students' nickname thoroughly, which is mainly connected with culture, linguistics and social psychology realms etc.Third, by the form of send the questionnaire and interview on the scene, we investigate four public middle schools in our country, including middle school in the big city, middle school in the medium city, middle school in the town and middle school in the village, with investigate questionnaire as main, the interview for assist. According to the analysis of the inquisition questionnairedata of middle school students' nickname, we just conclude the present condition of the nickname usage of middle school student, include the different influence of sex dissimilarity to the frequency, likes and dislikes, mental, different influence of parents education level and class grade to the nickname usage etc. And combine the analytical data result and relevant information, we induce the influence and born mode of middle school student's nickname.In the end, based on the understanding and thought of above contents, we comb the present condition of the middle school students' nickname, and synthesize the research results of each angle and each stage, we put forward the education management suggestion on the middle school student nickname phenomenon in actuality.
