The Student-Centered Education (TSCE) means "The education authentic students oriented, andthe education designed for the students studying on their own initiative." The ideas of TSCE are "Forthe students, highly respect the students, trust to the students." There has been great effect andinfluence to the society and strong sound to the educational circles since the "student oriented"experiment began in hundreds of secondary and primary schools in Mainland and around fortyschools in Hong Kong.The management theories of TSCE are quite different to the ones of traditional education, interalia, how to proceed the classroom management, which helps to put TSCE into practice.This study bases on Macao Pui Va Middle School (PVS) as a case to analyse, and invites thestudents of Macao Luis Gonzaga Gomes Luso-Chinese Secondary School (GLCS) to answer thequestionnaires, and there are total 571 effective questionnaires received. All the data getting fromthese questionnaires is complied statistic by SPSS. Analyzing and Probing into the effects TSCEcausing to the classroom management by analyzing the data from the questionnaires, the results ofTSCE of PVS of last academy year, the interviews to some teachers of TSCE, observing the learningstates of students, combining with the documentary.The questionnaire surveys the students in three aspects, the results are:1. In the aspect of self-management: the students hope that to be respect by the teachers, and totrust to them to study on their own initiative;2. In the aspect of group management: the students are fond of doing discussions in groups during the class;3. In the aspect of classroom management: the students hope that the regulations of classroom areinstituted by themselves.The effects TSCE causing to the classroom management of secondary section by integrating thequestionnaires, the results, the interviews and the observations are:1. Teachers shall swift the role of education from administrators to navigators;2. Teachers shall change the ideas of classroom management and respect the students as the centerof education;3. Teachers shall be for people, manage the classroom democratically, create harmoniousatmosphere in the classroom.The followings are suggested to be directed against the results mentioned above:In teaching, teachers shall change the concepts of teaching, change the roles from being aadministrator, establish the concept of student-center, treat the students as completed, havingdifferences and developing people, serve all for the personalities development of students by usingrespect as medium. In classroom management, teachers shall give chances to students to makedecisions by themselves, create democracy, freedom and harmonious atmosphere within theclassroom to let the students manage the classroom voluntarily and actively, to make the studentsrealize their roles and positions in order to make the students to have the responsibilities andobligations, to let the students to have the abilities of self-education, self-management andself-modification. Thus, we shall cultivate the new generations to be high quality talent of havingself-conscious, sense of responsibility, ability of management and spirit of innovation.
