Since a long time, our comprehension of the notion about students' study is aprocess of reading and gaining knowledge. And we always regard students as thecontainers who accept the instillation of knowledge from the adults. However, with thearrival of the information society, the quick tempo of life in modern society is thecharacteristic in this age of worshiping and showing personality. People's lifestyle isdifferent, and so does the pattern of study. Actually, we are walking into the epoch ofindividualized study. Going into the new century, individualized study has become thebasic life attitude and living pattern for everybody. During a long time oureducation ,especially basic education, is viciously impacted by the mode of"education-orientedness". We judge students by the standard of scores. And cutting bymeans of one yardstick has become a bitter problem. So the last result is that we havedenied students' personality and their development as well. But it is bitterlyaccustomed to the development of the requirement for the creative talents. Times callsfor individualized study.Chinese, as a subject, takes great advantage over the cultivation of students'personality and the proceeding of the individualized study. Considering the situationthat we all the time pay attention to the improvement of teaching content and teachingmethods, while neglect the major part of study-students. Which leads the consequencesof ignoring the students' individuality and the shortage of personality in their study,this passage tries to research and dwell on the definition of individualized study ofChinese ,basic theory and tactics of implementation, the problems we should center onand so on and so forth . All will be set off from the point of the essence of Chinesecourse, and in line with the breakthroughs in the individualized study.The first part will answer the reasons why we support individualized study inChinese cours. Cultivating students' individuality is the important task of Chinesestudy. In the traditional Chinese study , there exist the problems of being indifferent tostudents' personal differences, ignoring the students' study ability, patterns of study,styles of study and other shortcomings, which makes study a superficial activity. Theessence of the individualized study in Chinese course is that students study it inaccordance with the characteristics of Chinese course and their owns characteristics torealize the development of their personalities.The second part discusses the theory setting of individualized study in Chinesecourse. From the point of personal psychology, Humanization, Constructionist,Diagrammatic, Aesthetics-acceptation, the passage analyzes the existing of students'differences in individuality, and study is a process of individualization, students'comprehension should be multiple and individualized, and study of Chinese courseshould be individualized.The third part concretely discusses the characteristics of individualized study inChinese course. There are four characteristics in Chinese course of individualizedstudy. First, independence. Individualized study in Chinese course firstly shows thatstudents can freely use the experience and knowledge they have mastered to proceedthe research activity. Students are the decision-maker of study. Second,probe-orientedness. Individualized study in Chinese course is a kind of activity toprobe. Students use the related knowledge to probe into the problems in a harmoniousatmosphere. Third, experience-orientedness. Individualized study in Chinese course isa process that individual acceptance gets access to individual participation. Fourth,openness. The resources of the course in the individualized study are open.The fourth part talks about how to proceed the individualized study in the Chinesecourse. Combining the characteristics of Chinese course , some suggestions are put out:first, supporting individualized reading. Students are active in the study of text andshould make dialogues with the texts and authors. Second, implementingindividualized composition. In the writing of composition, students should show theirparticular individuality and put out their real feelings and emotions. Third, holdingChinese integrated study. On the basis of the Chinese text, using the abilities oflistening, speaking, reading, wring that students have formed, taking the study patternsof personality, co-operation, probe, we get the expected results to improve theirall-around abilities and personal integrated capabilities.The fifth part discusses the problems that we should pay attention to inindividualized study of Chinese course. First, setting up the estimation system of the"archives pocket" . In the process of estimation, students can find themselves,determine the motives, open the process of their self-creativity, and enhance theindividualized study. Second, forming study-pattern organization. For studentsindividualized study, we should provide the free order to foster their study anddevelopment from the point of relationship of communication, cultural atmosphere,psychological atmosphere and so on. Third, showing the teaching individuality ofteachers to exert the influences of gesture-suggestions on students. Teachers'individuality plays a vital role in students' individualized study.Individualized study in Chinese course breaks the mode of traditional Chinesestudy and teaching. It emphasizes that students choose their own study mode in theChinese course, personally get their own experience through the ways of thecommunication with the text and writers and the probe into the class-insideinformation, and finally cultivate their individuality and realize harmoniousdevelopment. So the Chinese study will be not dry and boring. It will become students'colorful life. Nevertheless, on this perfect soil, students will fly their individuality andthoughts.
