Concerning the problem of current student composition mode and composition teaching of middle or primary school, the author asserts that we should regard students as master in composition teaching and encourage them to manifest fully their individualities in compositions and, which will promote the development of their individualities and creativity while improving writing ability. Act on the way, this thesis tries to find one theory and method of resolving above-mentioned problems.The whole paper includes three chapters. The first chapter firstly describes current situation of composition teaching through three aspects: students' compositions, composition teaching and certain teachers' conception. Then it points out two prime causes of the fixed mode in those compositions: the students' lack of individuality and creativity and teachers' conservative teaching conception. Finally it states the necessity of developing student individuality during composition teaching .the second chapter mainly discusses the definition, goal and value pursuing of individualized composition teaching. Revolving round why to write, what to write and how to write, it probes into the theory of individualized composition .The third chapter mainly comments on the actual deeds of individualized composition, describes current composition teaching systems and then expounds the author's own supposition on individualized composition teaching through three aspects: composition teaching order, manner and process.
