Family is the longest living environment to people in life. Any people who was born and lived in a kind of stable family, his behavior and academic achievement would be affected by parenting styling. At present,most researchers choose urban teenagers rather than rural teenagers as research participants. With 200 rural junior middle school students in Grade Two as participants, by using EMBU, class play and peer nomination, present study examined participants'parenting styling and its relations to school adaptation. The results are as follows:1,Junior middle school students'parenting styling in rural areas has almost absolutely no remarkable sex differences. Only there are two factors that show a higher proportion. Father's excessive interference numeric to the boy is obviously higher than girl on parenting styling; the testing numeric of the father's predilection is obviously lower than the girl. Mother's rearing patterns have no remarkable sex differences.2,Fathers who received education in senior middle school and in the junior middle school show no remarkable differences in parenting styling. Mothers who received education in the junior high school and in the elementary school whose feeling warmth comprehend have remarkable differences.3,The correlation between parenting styling and school adaptation of junior middle school students in rural area is almost not remarkable. The remarkable correlation between academic achievement of junior middle school students in rural area and father rearing patterns do not exist, the only correlation between feeling warmth and comprehension and rejection and denying of mothers rearing patterns and academic achievement of junior middle school students in rural area is remarkable. The rejection of the companions is obviously positive correlation with the father's excessive interference.
