Promote The Teaching Of The Personality Development Of Students' Compositions To Explore

Cultivating a man of marked individuality has been the traditional educational aim in China, and with the development of society, creativity which has accelerate the social productive forces plays an important role in education.. Fostering students'creativity and developing their potentials is based on individuality. Compositions with specific characters have been the common sense which the new standards of curriculum resulted in.Writing a Chinese composition is a process of reflecting the spiritual world of a student. Moreover, an elegant Chinese composition must be marked with the student's individuality and creativity.However, cramming teaching restrains the creativities of students whose compositions have nothing with diversities and specific characters.In order to pursue the aim that characters of students should be found in their compositions, a teaching reform about writing a composition was carried out in my school, by which students should be guided to learn the general principles of writing and to expose their experience and feelings in their writings.The measures are as follows. First, students have a chance to write whatever they want to; second, any student should be guided how to write; third, any student may seek some advice from others, and share his ideas about writing; fourth, any student must finish assignments which teachers require; finally, any student is encouraged to have his composition published.This reform is focused on students'acquisition. Students are encouraged to do more reading which they benefit from in writing. The relationship between imitation and creativity, and the relationship between students'writing freely and teachers'guiding have been dealt with better. Having been instructed, more students are interested in writing Chinese compositions and have developed their writing abilities.As we have seen, we have gained some experience and lessons according to the reform, and we'll go on the further study to achieve the aim that characters of students should be found in their compositions.
