A Research On Percy Nunn’s Thought Of The Free Development Of Individuality

Thomas Percy Nunn is the famous scientist, philosopher and educator in the early 20 th century in England. The current study based on Percy Nunn’s writings analysis educational purpose, influencing factor and cultivation method in turn.The author analyzes their thoughts of individuality that is based on the comparison of Percy Nunn’s thought, Montessori’s thought, Whitehead’ s thought and Suhomlinski’s thought. The author analyzes the value of Percy Nunn’s thought combined the author’s theory. Finally, the author pointes out the inspiration we should learn from the thought. And the author provided theoretical guidance for individualized education and the implementation of free development of individuality in our country.
