The education quality is the most important element in the higher education. And the classroom teaching, which mainly show and determine the education quality in the universities, is still the main channel for the universities to carry on the education work. As the direct target of the classroom teaching, the large audiences of university students are authorized and able to evaluate the teachers' teaching. Since the 80s in the last century, the universities in our country have carried out the evaluation gradually, which improved the teaching quality. With the quick developing technology of computer and internet, and with the informationization of education, the process to evaluate the classroom teaching on line became a key problem in the research and practice field of education evaluation.This article discussed the background, meaning and the advantages of students' evaluation. Themed the innovation of the evaluation tools, this article analyzed the differences between the evaluation on line and the traditional ways, and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the evaluations on line. Based on all these work, sampled with university A, clued with the process of preparing—practice—feeding back, this research discussed the status of the evaluation work of the University A systematically. It analyzed the different understanding of the evaluation for the education management, teachers and university students by the means of questionnaire, interview and field research. And it gave the suggestions about improving the training and propaganda before the evaluation with the further disposals of the evaluation information and making uses of the evaluation results.
