With the continuous deepening of higher education reform,more and more attention has been paid on how to develop the quality of education.Especially the expansion of enrollment in recent years has,to some extent,affected the teaching quality.The quality of classroom teaching plays a vital part in the quality of higher education and has always been determined by the teachers,students and the environment which are integrated as a whole.In addition,teaching quality is also influenced by campus culture,polities and other aspects.The practice of classroom teaching quality evaluation plays an important role in teaching quality monitoring in universities.Improving teaching evaluation has great significance in enhancing teacher's teaching and students' leaching quality,as well as perfecting teaching management system.But now,there are many problems in current classroom teaching quality evaluation.The awareness of the importance of the evaluation is insufficient.The subject of evaluation is both one-sided and single.The construction of measurement is neither complex nor scientific.This research mainly focuses on these issues.Based on A Normal University,this research made a survey including many aspects of evaluation,such as its development,understanding,subject,methods,functions and feedback,etc.By means of questionnaires and interviews,this study made a survey on the current situation of teaching quality evaluation in A Normal University.From the survey,it has been found that the classroom teaching evaluation in A Normal University has many problems including simplex evaluation subject,simple evaluation standards,rigid evaluation methods and unspecific evaluation results,etc.Based on the analysis of the existing issues,this survey has put forward some feasible countermeasures and suggestions,including updating the concept and methods of classroom teaching quality evaluation,as well as constructing scientific evaluation system.Also,an investigation has been done among students and teachers on the basis of existing evaluation criterion,which was reconstructed through screening evaluation indicators and establishment of weights,to reconstruct the evaluation standards.Through the analysis of the present situation,countermeasure formulation and standards reconstruction,this research is expected to play a certain positive role in promoting the classroom teaching evaluation of A Normal University.
