High School Technology Curriculum Teaching Model

With the deepening of new curriculum reform experiment under the general education, technology course has already as a separate learning area entered into more and more ordinary high schools. However, as a new course, technology teaching theory has not been perfect yet. Under such circumstances, there is an urgent demand on researching technology teaching to meet the needs of teaching practice. Based on summarizing and analyzing already existed production of technology teaching models and technology teaching practice, the dissertation is focused on the teaching of technology course from the perspective of teaching models by using methods of literature analysis and spot observation.The dissertation includes three parts. The first part expounds the historical evolution of traditional technology teaching models at home and abroad , analyzes the cause of fostering the shaping of traditional technology teaching models and their defects. Besides, points out the enlightenment of traditional technology teaching models on current technology course teaching. The second part elaborates the factors of impacting on establishing teaching models of technology course in ordinary high schools from three aspects of technology course in ordinary high school itself, modern curriculum theories, and modern teaching theories. Methods of establishing teaching models are also shown. Based on the existed technology teaching practice, the third part introduces and evaluates several teaching models of technology course in ordinary high schools, at the same time, designates the problems which are needed to pay attention to when using teaching models of technology course in ordinary high schools.
