Based on the theory of Cognitive Psychology and Information Processing Theory, a learning strategy named "promoting problem schema forming" is brought forward, whose aim is to promote problem schema forming. Then the teaching practice has been carried out for three months. The results of teaching practice suggest: the learner's problem schema can be divided into four levels; learner's grades can reflect on their problem schema levels; this learning strategy can improve learners' devolopment of metacognition, their problem schema level is then advanced. The results of case-study and investigation in certain scope suggest further this learning strategy is feasible and valid, the shortcomings of this learning strategy is brought out as well. At last, teachers should pay more attention to metacognition learning and problem schema training.
