Study Of College Students' Rights Security System

Higher education students right protection is an important issue in the course of higher education modernization. In recent years many studies have been conducted on this issue. Along with the government advocation of"Ruling the Country Legally", legislative system is being completed day by day. People are paying more and more attention to individual legal rights. Today, while the socialist market economy system has been developed to completion, the relationship between higher education institutions and higher education students is gradually changing from traditional administrative orientation to educational contractual orientation. Higher education students right protection has become a milestone in the course of higher educational institution management modernization. It is also an important content of"Ruling the School legally"in the area of higher education.The article studied the history and the current status and problems of higher education students right protection, defined the higher education students' rights and the higher education students right protection. Higher education students are both the acceptor of education (teaching) and the executor of education (study). They possess the right to receive education, to study, to develop their own personality, to protect their own property, and to benefit from social welfare system. The author took Marxist personal subjective theory, education modernization theory, and the constitutional government theory as the basis of building higher education students right protection system, and put forward three principles in building higher education students right protection: harmonious development principle, control and self-discipline principle, and the law criterion principle.The author tried to construct the higher education students right protection system in the four aspects of conception, administration, organization and team-building. The author's ideal higher education students right protection system includes: the conception of"Ruling the School Legally"and"Running the School Student-oriented", the legislative focus on students rights and the implementation of relative rules and regulations, the administrative organization which can serve the right protection of students, the administrative team which can promote the professional development of students right protection.The author pointed out that the government should put emphasis on the study and draft of"student law", and improve legislative work on relative rules and regulations, the higher education institutions should make efforts to complete interior education quality control system to protect the students right of accepting education and conducting studies, make reforms to complete the interior administrative system and student support system to realize the protection to the students rights, especially...
