New century is calling for new education, new course standards tell us targets.As one promising study theory guiding to new century education, the theory of experience study is discussed deeply. Based on teaching experience as a middle school music teacher, viewpoint that experience study theory has natural relation with primary and middle school music education and fits to apply in this field is proposed. Many teaching tries have been made guided by experience study theory in middle school music education and teaching strategies and methods when applied this education theory are concluded.The thesis is divided into three parts. Firstly, the theory of experience study is introduced, followed by the problem of using this theory to guide primary and middle school music education which is studied. Secondly, viewpoint that experience study theory has natural relation with primary and middle school music education and fits to apply in this field is proved theoretically. Finally, based on middle school music teaching practices guided by this theory, teaching strategies and methods when applied experience study theory are proposed.The work of this thesis is made up of some deep theory discussions and some helpful practice work.
