Human rights education is an essential element to realize the human rights. Human rights education in the primary and secondary school is the trend of human rights education and the demand of human rights' development in the world. In recent years, human rights education develops rapidly in China. But human rights education in the primary and secondary school falls behind. It is of both theoretical and practical significance in building the system of human rights education and in promoting the development of human rights education in the primary and secondary school in our country.This topic of the thesis is "About the Building of Human Rights Education System in Primary and Secondary School in China". The thesis consists of the preface, the main body with six parts and the concluding parts.In Chapter 1, the topic is "what's the human rights education". It discusses the definition of the human rights education, the nature and characteristics. The differences and the relationship between the human rights education and the other educations are also explored.In Chapter 2, the topic is "The significance of human rights education in primary and secondary schools". This part demonstrates the urgency and importance of the human rights education in the primary and secondary school through the analysis of the children rights, the national strategy of rule by law ,youngsters socialization and so on.In Chapter 3, the topic is "The present situation of the human rights education in our primary and secondary school and the causes". This part introduces the present situation of the human rights education in domestic primary and secondary school, and analyzes the political, historical and factual reasons causing the present situation.In Chapter 4, the topic is "The present situation and enlightenment on the international human rights education in the primary and secondary school". After analyzing the human rights education in the primary and secondary school in UN, Europe and Asia, we can find that there are many experience that we can make use of and study when we build our human rights education in the primary and secondary school.In Chapter 5, the topic is "The system of human rights education of the primary and secondary school in China". This part puts forward three essential elements to build the system of human rights education in primary and secondary school in China: the guiding rule,the guiding strategies and the index and discusses them in detail.
