The present paper is about to the findings of the children's social development and educational theory of the Montessori.The research has analyzed and probed intoab the origianl works of the Montessori, and reducted and stracted the theories about children's social development and education of the Montessori by using the historical research method and hermeneutic as theory instruction.By understanding and explanting the original works of the Montessori, the researcher has obtained the findings as follows:The theoretics of the Montessori about the children's social development and education are based on her acuteness of vision and perception about the human society and human sociality. The thoughts have rich enough to construct a theory system which uses the idea of the children's development mechanism as theory premise and foundation. The system infiltrates different domain course content to help children realize their nature development and.devotes to training the children to adapt the social life and obtain the independent character in order to realize the improving of the whole human society.Montessori has obtained the rule of the children's social development and education by observation in practice. Furthermore, she has applied it in the practice of the children's education. She has found that children have latent vitality and could carry on the self-education in the spontaneous activities. The social development of the children's self discipline individuality disposition moral character developments along with the age growth and represent the different characteristic and the rule in the different age stages.Children have rich emotion. They deeply love the adult . the environment and their own colony . Children have their own society in which children would know how to communicate with and learn from each other .Their society is based on the cohesion, so children's social education have to follow the rule of the children's social development, discover and liberate the children based on the freedom, use mixed age education form, take children's self-education and teacher's individual direction as the main teaching method in order to promote the children's social development.Montessori has the unique and remarkable contribution in the aspect of the children's social development and education. Her theories still have the inspiration and the model function with the practice and research of the children's social development and education today. |
