Study On The Implementation Of Montessori Children’s Curriculum In K Kindergarten From The Perspective Of Key Competences

The Montessori children’s curriculum is shining in the curriculum field of early childhood education,and at the same time,it has exposed some problems in its development.The era of "key competences" in the education industry has provided opportunities for curriculum reform.In this study,a private kindergarten adopting the Montessori children’s curriculum model is used to study the curriculum development strategies based on the key competences perspective.The aim is to optimize the organization and implementation of Montessori children’s curriculum with the guidance of cultivating students’ key competences,and to provide some reference and inspiration for early childhood education with key competences.In this study,K kindergarten is used as a case study.The literature analysis method is used to study the relevant literature about Montessori children’s curriculum and key competences.In addition,qualitative research methods such as participatory observation method and interview method are used to collect rich typical case materials.The objectives,contents,organization and implementation,and evaluation of the curriculum are used to analyze the current development of the Montessori children’s curriculum and summarize the development characteristics,so as to discuss the relationship between the Montessori children’s curriculum,key competences,and early childhood education.Based on the perspective of key competences,this paper puts forward feasible suggestions for the future development of Montessori children.It is found through research that the Montessori children’s curriculum has a great degree of compatibility with key competences,both of which are "child-centered" and focus on cultivating children’s important qualities and key abilities.On the one hand,the Montessori children’s curriculum is suitable for key competences to carry out reform and innovation in the new era.On the other hand,the Montessori children’s curriculum provides the possibility of landing key competences.
